Pieces are chosen for the specific property and its target buyer, styled on site, and removed once the listing closes — no storage, no resale, no logistics on your end.

 

Who Rents Furniture in Calgary

​Rental inventory is for properties that need to present well for a defined period, not forever. That covers a few situations.

 

Vacant listings need furniture to give buyers scale and function — an empty room photographs flat and reads smaller than it is. Flips and renovated properties need staging to keep a finished product from looking cold; new finishes photograph better against warmth. Model homes and developer inventory need to demonstrate lifestyle and differentiate near-identical units. And partially furnished homes sometimes need a few specific pieces rather than a full install — a properly scaled sofa, a bed, a dining set.

 

How It Differs From Renting Furniture Yourself

Rental through a stager is a design service, not a delivery service. The furniture isn't the product — the selection is.

 

Pieces are chosen against the property's layout, style, target buyer, and camera angles, then placed and styled by a designer. Scale is the thing most self-directed rentals get wrong: a sofa that fits the floor plan on paper can still make a room read small in photos. Delivery, installation, styling, and collection are handled as one service, and the inventory is coordinated so the rooms work together rather than as a set of individually reasonable choices.

 

What's Available

Rental inventory covers full-room furnishing through to individual accent pieces. Each project is customized to the property.

 

• Living areas — sofas, accent chairs, coffee and side tables, area rugs, lighting, artwork, cushions, layered accessories

• Dining — dining tables and chairs, statement artwork, centerpiece styling, decorative accents

• Bedrooms — king and queen beds, nightstands, luxury bedding, table lamps, artwork, curated accessories

• Office and flex spaces — desks, chairs, shelving, rugs, artwork, décor to demonstrate function

• Entry, kitchen, and bathrooms — consoles, mirrors, countertop styling, towels, spa-inspired accessories, greenery

• Décor and art — the pieces that finish a room on camera: art, textiles, lamps, greenery, styling accessories

 

Rental Terms and Pricing

Rental is quoted per property based on scope, and the standard term is one month from installation with a non-refundable one-month minimum. Renewals are available at a reduced rate if the listing needs more time.

 

For vacant properties, the Full Staging Package is $2,400 and covers complete furnishing and styling of a home or condo, setup included, with delivery, pick-up, and transportation quoted separately. For occupied listings needing décor rather than furniture, the Realtor Light Staging Package is $425 and includes up to 15 curated décor pieces staged for one month with transportation and pick-up included.

 

All furnishings and accessories are supplied on a rental basis and remain the property of WOW Effect Inc. GST applies to all charges.

 

Delivery, Installation and Collection

Delivery, setup, styling, and pick-up are handled as a single service. Most installs are completed in a single day and the property is photograph-ready when the team leaves. At the end of the term, we collect everything — you don't coordinate movers, storage, or returns.

 

Transportation is quoted separately on full staging and charged once on the initial invoice. It isn't recharged on renewals unless inventory is removed and reinstalled. Locations outside Calgary may carry an additional transportation fee.

 

When to Book

Book before your listing photography date. Photos are the first showing, and rental furniture installed after the shoot means paying a photographer twice. Install dates fill around listing launch schedules — send the address and shoot date and we'll work backward from it.
